The EFC Membership Card was created to make the European Federation of
Corrosion more transparent to individuals and to make membership in national
corrosion societies more attractive.
To date, 23 EFC Member Societies have joined the scheme. The members of these
signatory societies
can make use of the advantages the card
offers.
Benefits to the holders of the EFC Membership
Card
The members of an EFC Member Society who has signed the
Membership Card Agreement
obtain the same discounts, if any, on
conference rates and publications organized/offered by another EFC Member
Society who also participates in the scheme as granted to the national members
of the organizing/publishing society.

In 2007, the European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) introduced the scheme "
Friends of the EFC
" as a source of information to the community.
Scientists and all those interested in corrosion who register as a
Friend of the EFC
regularly receive information about the activities of the Federation, its
Working Parties and the annual EUROCORR congresses and also the EFC
Newsletter, free of charge.
