EFC 'Green Book' Series

The output of the EFC takes various forms. Papers on particular topics, for example, reviews or results of experimental work, may be published in scientific and technical journals in one or more countries in Europe. Conference proceedings are often published by the organisation responsible for the conference.

The EFC books - a series of reports and state-of-the-art reviews -  is published for the European Federation of Corrosion by Maney Publishing and Woodhead Publishing on behalf of The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IoM 3 ).
In September 2012, Woodhead Publishing (www.woodheadpublishing.com) has entered into an agreement to publish all forthcoming EFC titles, the first of which Corrosion and conservation of cultural heritage metallic artefacts, has been published in July 2013. To order click here

EFC Journals

The four journals listed below regulary publish information about the EFC and its activities. They carry the EFC logo on the front cover in order to reflect strong links with the EFC.

New EFC official partner journal

In 2017, the EFC Board of Administrators approved a new official EFC partner journal called “Ochrona przed Korozją” (“Corrosion Protection”), the journal from the Polish Corrosion Society (PSK). This journal exists since 1957. The scientific level has always been controlled by the appropriately selected Scientific Committee, composed of the most important Polish and foreign scientists, professors and members of Polish Academy of Sciences. Significant papers of many famous Polish and international scientists involved in research in the field of corrosion and corrosion protection have been published.

The journals extends the list of EFC official partners journals  to four, which now includes the journalsMaterials and Corrosion”, “Corrosion Engineering, Science and Technology (CST)”, “Matériaux et Techniques” and “Ochrona przed Korozją”.
