WP8 -Corrosion Testing Methods and Data Management invites you to the next topical event on AFM and SKPFM for corrosion research. Yaiza Gonzalez Garcia (TU Delft, The Netherlands) will introduce the fundamentals of atomic force microscopy (AFM), discuss corrosion-related applications, common artefacts, and perspectives beyond ambient AFM. Reynier Revilla (VUB, Belgium) will introduce the application of ambient scanning kelvin probe force microscopy (SKPFM) to study micro-galvanic corrosion phenomena, highlighting data interpretation, challenges, and opportunities.
