YEFC 3M plenary lecture competition

Be the next YEFC Plenary Lecturer @EUROCORR2026! 

The YEFC invites early-career corrosionists to apply for the 3M Plenary Lecture Competition and seize the opportunity to present their work on the EUROCORR 2026 plenary stage in Dublin, Ireland (6–10 September 2026). Contestants must have at least five years and no more than twelve years of professional experience (incl. PhD) upon submission. Other candidates may also be considered if there are extraordinary grounds for doing so. (Extraordinary grounds refer to illness, parental leave, or similar circumstances). PhD is not required for applying; applicants from industry are welcomed. PhD candidates will not be considered for this competition, except if they can demonstrate at least five years of professional experience in the field of corrosion.

EUROCORR Travel Grant for Young Corrosionists

Want to share your research on one of the biggest stages in corrosion science?  
The EUROCORR Travel Grant helps young corrosion researchers and students attend EUROCORR 2026, where you will present your work, network with experts, and exchange ideas that drive the field forward.  

The Grant is intended for students from countries or organisations where they encounter difficulties to travel to the venue of EUROCORR because of financial constraints. The Grant selection is made based on brief proposals submitted.

WP14 Webinar: Smart Analysis of Coatings: From PEO to Local Probes and AI Toolsu

This webinar brings together three complementary perspectives on modern coating characterization and analysis. The programme features the WP14 Best Oral Presentation from EUROCORR 2025 on PEO coating optimization, followed by an expert overview of local electrochemical methods for probing metal/coating interfaces, and concludes with the presentation of an innovative AI-powered assistant for SVET research. The event targets researchers and engineers working in coating development, corrosion testing, and advanced characterization techniques.
