The European Corrosion Congress

The annual event of the European Federation of Corrosion

The European Corrosion Congress - EUROCORR, the EFC’s annual conference, is the flagship event of the international corrosion calendar.

Attracting upwards of a thousand delegates, it is held every year in September in a different European country. EUROCORR is famous for its high technical standard and its popular social programme.

Virtual Congress, 19-23 September 2021

As the 2021 hosts of the renowned annual corrosion congress EUROCORR, HUNKOR, together with the European Federation of Corrosion, EFC, and DECHEMA, we cordially invite you to attend EUROCORR 2021.

COVID-19 update, 8 February 2021

We regret to inform you that due to ongoing global health concerns and travel restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the local organising committee of EUROCORR 2021, in consultation with the EFC were compelled to cancel the physical EUROCORR 2021 congress scheduled for September in Budapest in order to protect attendees, staff, and the EFC community.
Nevertheless, EFC wishes to continue the exchange of scientific results and networking within the international corrosion community and as such EUROCORR 2021 will be transformed into a virtual event.

The scientific programme of EUROCORR will allow you an opportunity to catch up with the most recent and reliable scientific results and the latest industrial achievements, and to take part in the development of new standards and regulations in the subject of corrosion control. As always during EUROCORR, each day several parallel sessions will run, some dealing with the most important general corrosion problems and some focusing on those specific to each branch of industry.

The deadline for confirmation of submitted abstracts and the submission deadline for new abstracts for lecture and poster contributions is 31 March 2021.
